Design rationale
Hyperpop / Brat runs Arial Bold or Helvetica Neue Black at up to 25vw display sizes, set in lowercase and tight-tracked, against a single saturated color flood — the default token is a lime `#8ACE00`, but the whole palette is one CSS variable, so swapping it for `#FF2E88` or `#E8FF00` on a new drop is a one-line maintenance edit, not a redesign.
Zero gradients, raw unretouched photography, and a deliberate Web-1.0 ugliness are the point — polish reads as inauthentic in this specific aesthetic. The multi-platform Listen button still sits directly under the hero, because the aesthetic is a costume over the same conversion architecture every pop build ships with.
Who this fits
Bedroom-pop and hyperpop artists self-releasing on Bandcamp or similar platforms, building a fast, disposable, meme-able visual identity that can rotate with each release rather than a fixed "brand."
